Greenup, KY The Greenup County School District has partnered with Level Data to implement Brolly, an IEP software solution, for its special education team. This collaboration strengthens the district’s commitment to ensuring that every student with an IEP receives the services they are promised.

Nearly 500 special education students are enrolled across the district’s four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. That means 500 IEPs, 500 sets of individualized goals, and thousands of service minutes to monitor every week. Brolly centralizes this information, allowing the team to easily identify student needs, track progress, and intervene when necessary.

For Lesley Isom, Special Education Consultant at Greenup County School District, the search was about more than just finding user-friendly software. It was about ensuring her team had real-time visibility into students’ daily experiences. While compliance checks could be run through Infinite Campus, the results did not translate into actionable insights.

“One thing we’re really looking for is efficiency, as far as checking progress monitoring and having a dashboard,” Isom said. “I’m a visual person. I would like to see it on a screen.”

Now, with Brolly, the team always has access to the most current information. When an IEP is updated, everyone in the district can work from the latest version the next day—no need to reenter data or question which version is correct. For IEP meetings, re-evaluations, or audits, Greenup County Schools can be confident they have the necessary data to demonstrate services were delivered. This includes goal-specific progress reports, service-tracking summaries, and parent-ready documentation.

Greenup County is among a growing number of districts leveraging Brolly to improve student progress monitoring. For Isom’s team, it means identifying and addressing issues proactively, ensuring that every IEP is more than just a written plan, but a promise fulfilled in the classroom every day.
